Now that the turkey, stuffing and brussel sprout gas has finally left our systems, let's recap last weekend's action in the magical land of Scohaville.

Well folks, the festive holiday is in full swing. This edition of the blog will shake the foundation of the Mohawk 4 Pad Arena, guaranteed.  The standings in all three divisions are tighter than a hotel bedsheet. Hey folks, I feel old when I am excited for a Christmas baking party on a Sunday afternoon. Talk about a crazy week, was the windiest day since 1983 this past Thursday, my garbage can made it all the way to Dunnville for crying out loud. Anyways, here’s what went down last weekend in Scohavile…

Hey folks, welcome back to another trip around the little town we like to call Scohaville. Last week was nuts, not gonna sugar-coat it. Here’s hoping those players/goalies recover quickly from their injuries. Now before I miss my deadline and lose my job here, I better recap the weekend that was.

Hey folks, last weeks games were crazy, we will get to that in a sec. But first of all, or firstly, special congrats to Vito from Woodbridge who won last week’s draw on the podcast for a SCOHA toque autographed by Terry Gudgeon. Too bad he signed the black toque with a black sharpie but the thought was there.

Well folks, this week’s blog only pertains to 2 United Division games, but they are worth dissecting before the deadline hits. Good news is that Masters Guy Shaver didn’t put the chip dip on his head at the work Christmas party again for the 3rdyear in a row so that’s good start to the festive season…

Well gang, let’s start this off on the right foot by thanking the spare goalies, all 8 of them last week for coming out and helping us out. Greatly appreciated, win or lose! We owe you one!

Also, a heads up, there are no Masters or Grand Master games this Sunday as we observe the Grey Cup game. My prediction is Winnipeg 42 Argos 16 if anyone gives a care.

Well folks, it’s dark at 5pm for a while so bring on 6 months of dreary weather. Not looking forward to a long winter, not gonna lie. This week’s guest on the Pucks In Deep Podcast was none other than Masters Guy Shaver, who caught a bit of a cold while waiting in line for a book signing. He eventually got a signed copy of Quick Money for Dummies by Robin Banks which was apparently worth getting a case of the sniffles for. Thanks Guy for carving out some time to join the podcast. At any rate, let’s dive head-first into last week’s action before my self-imposed deadline passes.

Well I don’t know about you but last week’s games had many players going home for a hot bath. The games are amping up as we start to think about boiling hot malls and people wearing wool sweaters with nothing underneath and no deodorant for the holiday rush. Anyways, let’s unwrap last week’s action.
