When are things going to get better? Since we've moved I haven't seen any of the promises! Our times are later, were playing on holidays (New Years who thought this would be better?) and now another increase in registration! When is it going to get better, I've already seen the BIGGER! I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way? I know you want to keep the negative comments out, but when are the promise going to happen? Not from the executive but the salesmen that encouraged us to move?

I know we are deep into our play-offs but an interesting idea has been brought to my attention. Would any of our membership be interested in playing pick up hockey in July & August on Sunday night @ 9:00pm? The cost would be $90.00 for the nine weeks and could be a lot of fun.

The Stoney Creek Old-timers Hockey Association is once again holding our 14th annual spring “Old Fools” hockey tournament on April 21st – 23rd at the Mohawk Four Ice center in Hamilton Ontario. It should be our biggest and most exciting tournament that we have ever held. We would like to invite teams from your association to participate. We are offering many different divisions in two age categories, 35+ and 40+. As well, The Old Fools tournament also offers the following: • All teams are guaranteed to play 3 games. • Entry fee is $675.00. • The Mohawk 4 Ice Center has a restaurant & bar on the site, The Look Out lounge. • We plan to offer massages for players after the games to smooth out the kinks. • Videos and/or pictures of each game that players may purchase to remember the event. • Player of the game awards for each team. • A great prize table. • Prizes for each division winner. • The Ramada Inn offers competitive rates for teams that may need hotel accommodations.
