It is rather sad that this person won't put his name to it - I think that this person has not volunteered and has no appreciation for the amount of time that most of the executives and team reps put in ALL year including the summer.

It was Eddie Balfour Week in both divisions with 5 of ten tilts resulting in shutout wins.

The Devils needed to turn things around heading into week 11. They faced the struggling Bruins who seem to have trouble getting players to show up for their games.

The Canadiens got back on track with a win over the Senators last night. We jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first period but after that, the game became a tight checking contest.

The Canadiens had their 5 game winning streak snapped last night. The team did dot have it's usual zip and by most accounts it was felt that there were Two reasons for the loss

Well, we've played everybody once. The Leafs and Canucks keep winning, the Blues and Sharks are fading and the Flyers are surging. The big story of the 1st 9 weeks is all the ties - 45 games - 11 ties.

Week 8 is in the books and the Flames and Sharks decided nothing in the big showdown. Another tie. This leaves room for the Avalanche and the Senators to gain some ground against the front runners in week 9.

Week 8 is a wrap and 3 teams remained tied for top spot with 12 points. Eight points separate top from bottom as the action heats up in the junior division.
